Walk to Emmaus

This Sunday, we journey back to the morning of the Resurrection as we walk with two men out of Jerusalem who encounter a stranger who walks with them. That stranger walks with them the 7-mile journey to a place called Emmaus, talking about the scripture and what it might mean. As they enter a house and break bread together, suddenly they recognize who this person has been. What could this scriptural account tell us about how God is active in our lives?

Our auction is the vehicle to fund our congregation’s apportionments which support the activities of the United Methodist Church – nearby and around the world.  Last year with your help we raised $32,969!

• Caring for adults in college
• Providing resources for youth
• Support of ministries toward living out the conviction that racism is incompatible with Christian teaching

• Sustainable farming
• Africa University
• New churches in new places
